Howard Bowcott – Menai Science Park
Based in North Wales, designer Howard Bowcott has worked on several projects across the UK and further afield. His work has included that of designing the entrance of the Menai Science Park, a new company developing science, carbon energy and ICT sectors and is a subsidiary of Bangor University. With careful attention to detail, both the designer and Mona Precast worked closely together in order to create a contemporary piece of artwork for the newly opened Menai Science Park.
Mona Precast worked alongside the designer in order to create a unique piece of art at the entrance of the park. Using bespoke split faced blocks, this specially made design was created using natural, recycled blue slate from the North Wales quarry. Manufactured less than a mile away from the Menai Science Park, this impressive design integrates both modern art and local products
